Keren Gefen works with women and couples at some of the hardest moments of their lives. Making that support reachable by everyone, including people with disabilities, is part of the same commitment.
Our website
This site is built on the Wix platform, and we've worked to bring it in line with Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts the international WCAG guidelines at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Service), 5773-2013.
What we've done:
-
Clear heading structure on every page, so screen readers can navigate it
-
Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning
-
Colour combinations checked against the required contrast ratios
-
Full keyboard navigation, without needing a mouse
-
Limited use of motion and animation
-
Forms whose labels are tied to their fields
-
Hebrew and English versions of the site, each in its correct reading direction
An accessibility menu is available on every page, through the accessibility icon at the edge of the screen. It lets you adjust text size, contrast and other display settings.
Where we fall short
Some content on this site comes from third parties we don't control — embedded video, donation platforms and social media feeds. We can't guarantee those meet the standard, so we declare partial compliance for the pages where they appear. If a third-party tool is blocking you from something you need, contact us and we'll get it to you another way.
We review the site periodically and fix what we find.
Our building
The Gefen Center is at 44 Yehuda Street, German Colony, Jerusalem (Oranim Junction / Pierre Koenig).

If you run into a barrier on this site or at the center — a page you can't use, a form that won't work with your screen reader, anything at all — please tell us. Say what happened, which page or which part of the building, and how we can reach you. We'll respond, and we'll try to fix it.
