Gefen is very proud to be in partnership with and provide training in our expertise in fertility counseling and fertility yoga.

 

The Gefen staff trained qualified therapists and yoga instructors at SBH in the unique and effective Gefen model which offers concrete tools to help women better navigate their fertility journey.  We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the staff.  They learned about the challenges women and couples experience and gained knowledge in group and individual therapy. 

The workshop included frontal lectures, role plays, and experiential activities.

 

In the 3 day training, participants learned to administer CBT skills including cognitive restructuring, problem solving, worry time, pleasurable activity scheduling and Mind-Body skills including breath work guided imagery, progressive muscle relaxation and autogenic training.
